In the Zone 2014

A new narrative of prosperity and power

In the Zone 2014 was held at the University Club of Western Australia on 1 May. The one-day event was the most fruitful and significant forum to date. The assembly was joined by a line-up of compelling speakers, including the Hon Julie Bishop MP, Australian Minister for Foreign Affairs, and the Hon Colin Barnett MLA, Premier of Western Australia, in a wide-ranging dialogue with some of Asia and Australia’s most influential thinkers and leaders.

Panel sessions addressed a number of contemporary themes including food and energy security, the importance of open and secure trading routes for major commodities, and how to overcome barriers and increase capital flows in the Zone.
