South Korea is one of Western Australia’s major trading partners, and the two country share deep and long-standing relationships.

South Korea is a key market for Western Australia energy products and iron ore, an active partner in a number of Australian energy projects and a competitive manufacturing destination for the resources industry. UWA is investing to create a robust platform for education and research collaboration between Western Australia and Korea.

The Korea Energy and Minerals Resources Engineering Program

he Korea Energy and Minerals Resources Engineering Program (KEMREP) is a partnership between UWA and Curtin University and a number of significant Koreas institutions.
